Day 2 of 25 Days of Christmas

Happy December 2nd, from San Diego.  I guess somewhere in my family history, some ancestors are Swedish, so I thought it would be fun to do a themed Countdown to Christmas.  This year I chose Sweden...next year, who knows?

Today's agenda: make gingerbread cookie dough!  My favorite has been Martha Stewart's recipe.

What is your favorite Christmas/Holiday cookie?

I do feel behind in my baking already, since it's the 2nd day of December and I haven't baked anything yet.  However, I spent all day yesterday cleaning the kitchen and grocery shopping to prepare.  I think I'll cut myself some slack...what do you think?
