Kony 2012 & The Invisible Children
Like many millions of other people, the name "Joseph Kony" was unfamiliar to me before today. And like many millions of other people, I was unaware of the crimes he has been committing for the past 26 years. So I am going to do my part and stand up for what is right, for what is just. I am sharing his picture and spreading his name so that you may learn it, because that is the only way we are going to bring him to justice and have him arrested this year, in 2012. This is the year of Cheer & Triumph, and what a cheerful and triumphant day it will be when we see him cuffed, and his army of children returned home.
It starts with an individual, which spreads to friends and family, which extends to a community, which reaches a state, spreads the nation, and moves beyond borders by going international. This is our world! These are our people!
