Day 1:  Advent Calendar

Christmas Movie:  A Christmas Story.. "You'll shoot yer I out!"

Schedule: Shop for our Christmas Tree, get down decorations, go to Las Americas Outlets, and attend one of this city's Tree Lighting Events. {right now it's between Chula Vista's Starlight Parade and the Annual Tree Lighting in Little Italy.} 

This year's Advent Calendar was made by TinyBaker's Godmother!  It is made with paper-covered matchboxes, filled with tiny trinkets and goodies, and the occasional "package" note.  When we open a box that says "package", TinyBaker will get to choose one of the prewrapped packages that Godmother included.  Awesome!

This gift was a surprise, and something we will treasure always.  Thank you, Godmother Bonita!  We love you so much.  This is so nice, and a great way to "share" the countdown.

We're off to Little Italy to see the Annual Tree Lighting.  Santa arrives at 4:30, and bring a toy to donate, unwrapped!  They are given to New Alternatives!
