Clearly I am the "funnest" of the family.  Self-declared.  Blame it on the Magical Pumpkins.

Bates Nut Farm is located in Valley Center, San Diego.  Their website has a calendar full of fun family events throughout the month.  On the weekends they have food and exciting activities.  Remember:  it is warm here during October.. sometimes HOT.  Even though we were wearing long sleeves, we were sweating like we were running from a zombie scarecrow.

Events for October - Pumpkin Patch

We've been coming here since .. 2007?   Maybe earlier.  It was a newer tradition for my family, but it is a yearly one with our daughter.  The memories, the fun, the smiles.. they are worth more than anything!

I know many families that make Bates Nut Farm part of their family traditions year after year.  Dress up for some Halloween fun or go enjoy some Famous Pumpkin Fudge for a Fall treat.  You'll cherish the experience!!
