San Diego NAT Natural History Museum || Balboa Park for Free Tuesday

Sometimes I'm "tired snoozer mom" and sometimes I'm "amazingly fun adventurous mom".  I definitely love being the latter much more than the former, and today was one of those days!

Every Tuesday is "Free Residents'" Tuesday {it's also Taco Tuesday} and certain museums in Balboa Park are free.  Today is was the NAT {Natural History Museum, and this day would be the last FREE day to see Mammoths and Mastodons.  Spur of the moment, we were going!


 

Exciting!!  and FREE! {Check your local listings for free deals for residents.}  On a budget, this is BEST way to have fun in your town!

WHOA, Dinosaur!

Lunch by the fountain is the perfect ending to a perfect day.  TinyBaker is feeding the duckies.  She has such a sweet soul.  

Hi, baby girl!  Oh, that smile "melts my heart into an ooey gooey mushy pool of love".  That's what we say.

$5 gets you into ALL the Films!  I didn't know this until after, but I'm glad I know this for next time. 

Run Fun in the grass.. let your little ones run wild and free, to expel their energy and help their bodies grow!

 The Spanish Village was next to the parking lot where we successfully found a place.  The photo ops are incredible here, with brightly colored squares on the ground.  Check it out the next time you visit Balboa Park.. perhaps for the Celebration in 2015!!
