Hello! Looooong time since we've been here together, hasn't it...been?
We have tons to catch up on! I can't blab it all here right now. It's gonna take some time to get back into the hang of this.
One long story short is I charged a laptop. I haven't had one, or a computer of any kind for the past 8 years. Exactly. That leads to other questions, for sure. It seems nearly unthinkable and unspeakable that in 2025 there is anyone without computer access in their home.
I'm gonna need to use it to make the money somehow to pay for this laptop, so I'm on the workflow hustle now for suuure for sure.

You guys, my daughter is a Junior in High School. Omg, Right!? Last time I blogged I'm sure she was probably 7 or 8.
It's crazy. But I'm so good with being a mama. I love it... more than anything.
I got divorced. Happily Divorced. It's not that I "recommend" it, and I definitely felt a lot of Christian guilt, but I consciously give it to Jesus whenever I feel down about it. I still believe in love. I am still addicted to RomComs. I believe in marriage. I love a good love story, and believe it for myself to have an "until eternity" happy ending story. The things I've learned have either made me less tolerant or more tolerant, depending on the amount of love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness we give to each other.
After graduating from SDSU with a B.A., working as an office manager for 5ish year, pregnancy and stay-at-home mommy hood, separation and divorce, I went to Cosmetology School!
I am a CA Licensed Barber AND Cosmetologist, and I'm working out of a new salon in East County/ El Cajon.
And I want you to come see me...And my best fellow female Barber, Arlin (pronounced Arlene). We're both super hard working moms. doing the absolute best we can...until exhaustion.
There is a shop called Shears Salon, and we currently booth rent on an as-needed basis until we figure out a more consistent schedule which will also allow us to serve our community and pay our bills...on time.
I present to you my new business cards... My business is called BECKYCHARMS Barber & Beauty.
It's listed on GlossGenius / Google Maps, Facebook, and Yelp. I'm unsure as to why it's not listed on Instagram yet, but that's where wer'e at.
Services: Men's and Women's haircuts, short or long, neck and ear clean ups, etc
I wanted to enter an industry where I would be able to humbly serve others, and volunteer services to give back.
So I do offer a "Pay what you can" policy, for those who are strapped for cash and in financial stress.
Haircuts are a universal language, and styles are our dialects.
